I hope that helps out you on your gaming experience with windows XP. Either the microprocessor in your controller is locking up. It cannot do anything with our Chinese receiver. Do you have any idea why I needed to redo this and is this going to be needed every time I want to hook it up? Thank you very much in advance!

We highly recommend installing this driver as it will load all drlver the default Microsoft interfaces for this tutorial.

You should be using the one packaged with Windows rfceiver This was only uploaded for archival purposes and will not be used in any way during this tutorial.
I tried putting the cable, in different usb-ports, and restarting the computer. And when hardware becomes obsolete it gets very cheap!

I did a manual install tutorial for windows 7 for those operating systems that simply refuse to accept what the setup. Then click on Browse my Computer for Driver Software. I changed the inf to find the device ID of the Chinese driver in that one.
